Simpler LKV (wage cost benefit) postponed

Government wants more work-disabled persons working and continuing to do so. That is why there is the legislative proposal to amend the Participation Act Implementing Wide-Ranging Offensive and the legislative proposal to simplify the  Occupational Disability (Employment Targets and Quotas) Act. Outgoing Minister Koolmees of Social Affairs and Employment recently informed the House of Representatives that the intended implementation dates of the legislative proposals will not be met. The fall of the cabinet has caused the consideration of the proposals to be postponed from July 1, 2021 to January 1, 2022. The commencement date of the included simplifications of the Salary Costs (Incentive Allowances) Act is delayed to January 1, 2023.
